We were visiting Bodegas Tierra, we met with a good friend Carlos, a good winemaker and a good grower.
It was a fantastic day because we also, by a coincidence, we met with Jordi Portillo, General Manager of Big5. So, all of us, we were drinking for a long time, tasting a really good wines as: Tierra Fidel, Cifras o El Primavera.
It was a huge pleasure to feel the different kind of soil on the wines, feeling the vineyards expressions depends on the altitude and sharing a glass of wine in the best atmosphere possible. Just one day after Bodegas Tierra finished the harvest and with the rest of the members of the team: Guillermo and Ochoa.
At the same time, we celebrated the Spanish National Day: Could we imagine something better´s combination?
Wines, Friends, Ending the harvest and Spanish National Day… it was AWESOME!
DOCa Rioja, mainly is divided by three different areas. Both areas have special relationship with the river which cross from north to south, from west to east the DOCa Rioja, Río Ebro.
Ebro makes special details on each area and if we include the different climate conditions, size of the fields, humidity level and fluvial days… we can guarantee the diversity of one the most international winemaking areas in Spain.
As we already said several times, we consider that Algod wines doesn’t competive against Rioja Wines on the International Markets; in fact, we are deeply convince that: we could get positive synergies from the wines produced around Spain. We are clearly supporter by WINES FROM SPAIN.
It doesn’t matter grape variety, kind of wine, place… it is matter, from where: SPAIN.
We are proud to taste delicious Spanish Wines because, as much good wines we produced in whole Spanish territory, higher competitive advantages we have in the International Markets.
Algod will continue enjoying the experience to taste wines and sharing great moments with fantastic friends,
